Today, I attended an awesome talk at our office -- blogger and author of Happier at Home and Better than Before, Gretchen Rubin sat down with journalist Marci Alboher to answer her questions and questions from the audience.
In an inspiring conversation, Gretchen talked about peoples' difficulties with habits and how to overcome and take control over them, and how gaining authority over our habits relates to our overall wellbeing and happiness.
Here's a quote from Gretchen's newest book, The Happiness Project:
"It's about living in the moment and appreciating the smallest things. Surrounding yourself with the things that inspire you and letting go of the obsessions that want to take over your mind. It is a daily struggle sometimes and hard work but happiness begins with your own attitude and how you look at the world."
Wise words! Thank you, Gretchen!
